Mission & Goals
GVF MISSION STATEMENT:
To act in an independent manner for the general promotion of the global Satellite Communications Industry, whether this be technology or service based. The GVF will represent the best interests of its membership at relevant industry symposia, regulatory and legal consultations and form a single point of contact for any suppliers to the industry or any users of satellite communications equipment or services. The Forum's actions will always be consistent with the promotion and growth of the Satellite Communications Industry and its membership.The GVF acts in support of the mission statement:
- Representing the Satellite Communications Industry at all necessary regulatory meetings, events, conferences and symposia globally.
- Regularly briefing the global satellite communications industry on regulatory actions globally.
- Authoring a single voice reply, comment or industry supported stance on regulatory issues.
- Ensuring the Satellite Communication Industry’s voice and presence are part of all new emerging markets as well as important long standing vertical markets.
- Bringing together opportunities for member companies for higher visibility in the areas that members identify as vital.
- Liaising with regional membership based Satellite Communications Trade associations to ensure global coordination on important issues.
