Regulatory Working Group

Mission

The GVF Regulatory Working Group develops consensus-based policies for the global satellite industry. These policies govern the appropriate use of spectrum and orbital resources for the industry as well as standards and best practices in satellite regulatory matters, including licensing, Open Skies, and universal services to be employed by operators, manufacturers, and regulatory authorities involved in the provision of communications services delivered by satellites.

Participation in this productive working group is open to any GVF Member.  The group meets regularly, and as needed, to fulfill the RWG's Mission.
