Knight Sky is a small business with over fifteen years’ experience providing expert satellite engineering services and managed satellite network services for the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal government agencies, state and local governments, and commercial entities. Knight Sky has established a track record of serving high value, mission critical customers including the U.S. Army, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the National Guard Bureau (NGB), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Our headquarters, located in Frederick, MD, contain Knight Sky’s 24/7/365 Network Operations Center (NOC), Test and Integration Lab, and a Depot Repair Workshop, and has Top Secret facility clearance.

The majority of Knight Sky’s key personnel hold clearances of Secret or above.  Our engineers have extensive backgrounds in satellite and significant experience in the design, construction, and operations of SATCOM networks. Utilizing this wealth of experience, we design, implement, and operate end-to-end SATCOM service solutions. 

 With our customers’ mission always in mind, Knight Sky’s knowledgeable sales engineers are available to provide an assessment of the latest satellite technologies and how they could best fit your organization’s needs. In addition to satellite solutions and subject matter expertise, Knight Sky provides customer care and training. For a deeper understanding of satellite communications, Knight Sky is an authorized provider of the GVF SATCOM Professional Certification Program, with Basic, Advanced and Specialist levels that includes GVF catalog courses online, customized courses and hands-on (classroom) training. 

Knight Sky holds both IT Schedule 70 and Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS2/CS3) GSA contracts.  These contracts support the joint GSA-DoD Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) and provide flexible acquisition options.
